Creole Soup
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp rice
1 medium-size onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 cp shredded mushrooms
1/2 cp diced celery
1 can tomato soup
few grains paprika
3 cps boiling water
Instructions
1 - Caramelize (melt) the sugar. Add the butter and rice; cook until yellowed.
2 - Stir in the vegetables. Cook gently three minutes.
3 - Add the tomato soup, water, and seasonings; and simmer 30 minutes,
or until vegetables and rice are tender.
