Entire-Wheat Dumplings
2 cps entire-sheat flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp shortening
1 cp milk
Instructions
1 - Stir together the dry ingredients. Rub in the shortening.
2 - add the milk, and drop by half tablespoonfuls into the boiling liquid.
3 - Cover closely and steam 20 minutes.
4 - Use with meat stew or in making steamed fruit dumplings.
