Bacon Muffins
2 cps flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 cp chopped cooked bacon
1 egg
1 cp milk
1 tbsp melted shortening
Instructions
1 - Sift the dry ingredients; add the bacon and blend.
2 - Stir in the egg, slightly beaten and combined with the milk and melted shortening.
3 - Beat until free from lumps and transfer to wellm oiled muffin pans.
4 - Bake in a hot oven, 400 degrees for 25 minutesw or until the muffins are borwn on top.
