Chinese Rice
1 cp white rice
2 tsp salt
2 qts boiling water
Instructions
1 - Bring the water to a rapid boil; add the salt and rice.
2 - Boil uncovered briskly for 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
3 - Drain, rinse with boiling water and let the rice stand in a sieve
over steam for 10 minutes
4 - This will keep the kernels separate and dry.
5 - Allow 45 minutes to cook brown rice this way.
