Turkish Honey Omelet
5 eggs
1/4 cp boiling water
1/3 tsp salt
<1 tbsp butterbr>
1/2 cp heated honey
Instructions
1 - Separate the eggs; beat the whites until stiff, and the yolks until creamy.
2 - Add the water and salt to the yolks; combine with the whites.
3 - Pour into a heated frying pan in which the butter has been melted.
4 - Cook over low heat, lifting the mixture about the edges to allow the
uncooked portion to precipitate.
5 - When brown on the bottom, place under the broiler a moment until the top is set.
6 - Cut at right angles to the handle to form a hinge and fold over.
7 - Transfer to a heated platter, pour the honey over. Serve at once.
Strew with chopped, browned cashew meats if desired.
