3 tbsp vegetable fat
1 small onion, minced
1/2 green pepper, minced
1 1/2 lbs chopped raw beef
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cp fresh bread crumbs
1/2 cp milk
1/2 cp tomato catsup
Instructions
1 - Melt the vegetable fat; put in the onion and green pepper and pan fry 2 minutes.
2 - Add to the beef; and season with salt and pepper.
3 - Soak the breaqdcrumbs in milk; add to the meat and mix until the ingredients are thoroughly blended.
4 - Form into a loaf; transfer to a shallow oiled pan, and bake in a moderaqte oven(375 degrees for 1 hr.
5 - Baste the loaf every 15 minutes with the catrsup diluted with an equal amount of hot water.
6 - Serve with Chinese rice.
