Cabbage Slaw
2 tbsp buttere
1/4 tsp mustard
few grains cayenne
2 tbsp flour
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cp of sweet or sour milk
1/3 cp weak vinegar
3 cps finely shredded cabbage
Instructions
1 - Melt the butter.
2 - Add the mustard, cayenne and flour.
3 - When smooth, stir in the egg, sugar, salt, cream, and vinegar.
4 - Stir over hot water until thick.
5 - Pour into the cabbage and steam a few minutes.
