Baked Pears II
Ingredients
8 good-sized winter pears
3/4 cp brown sugar
1 tsp whole cloves
1 cp water
Instructions
1 - Peel and core the pears.
2 - Place in a shallow casserole; sprinkle with sugar and cloves; pour in the water;
3 - Cover and bake slowly until the pears are almost translucent, about an hour and a half.
