Ingredients

medium ground coffee
boiling water
salt

Instructions

1 - Tyhe best coffee is made by the drip method.
2 - Allow 2 shaken off tablespoons of coffee for each personto be served.
3 - Place in the drip pot together with a very few grains of salt.
4 - Set the pot, unless it is electrical, in a pan of water; and place it where the water will keep boiling.
5 - Pour a half pint measuring cup of boiling water through the coffee for each person to be served.
6 - Cover the pot closely while the water is dripping through.
7 - Do not put it through twice.
8 - Serve at once.
