Stuffed Dates
Ingredients
1 lb dates
quick fondant
grated rind 1/2 orange
1/2 tsp orange extract
Instructions
1 - Prepare Quick Fondant, adding the orange rind and flavoring.
2 - Cut an incision in each date; and remove the stone, or use dates that come already pitted.
3 - Fill neatly with the fondant; and press the edges or the date over so that a strip of the fondant shows.
4 - Roll in granulated sugar, if desired; and let stand a few hours to blend.
