Ingredients
2 cps brown sugar
1/2 cp brown corn syrup
1/2 cp undiluted evaporated milk
1/3 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cp broken walnut meats, any kind
Instructions
1 - Combine the sugar, syrup, milk, salt, and butter; and boil until a little when tried in very cold water forms a soft ball.
2 - Cool until tepid; add the vanilla, and beat until creamy.
3 - Pour a half inch deep into a medium-sized buttered pan on which the nuts have been sprinkled.
4 - When almost cool, cut into squares.
