Caramels
Ingredients
1/2 cp white corn syrup
1 cp granulated sugar
1 1/3 cps brown sugar
1/4 carton of honey, comb and all
1/3 cp butter
1 cp light cream
1 cp heavy cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
1 - Combine the corn syrup, sugars,m honey, butter and light cream; and bring to the boiling point.
2 - Then stir in the heavy cream; and cook until a soft chewy ball is formed when a littl of the mixture is tried in cold water.
3 - Stir constantly; add the vanilla; pour into a buttered pan, making the mixture a half inch deep.
4 - When stiff enough, turn out, cut in squares; and wrap in paraffin paper.
