Tutti-Fruitti Fudge
Ingredients
2 cps granulated sugar
1/2 cp milk
1 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp corn syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cp quartered dates
1/4 cp raisins
1/2 cp chopped layer figs
Instructions
1 - Combine the sugar, milk, butter, salt and corn syrup; and boil slowly until a little when tried in very cold water forms a soft ball.
2 - Cool until tepid; add the vanilla and fruit, and beat until creamy.
3 - Transfer to a medium-sized buttered pan; and when almost firm, cut into squares.
