Fish Cakes
Ingredients
Salt codfish or cold boiled fish
cold mashed potatoes
pepper
salt
1 egg
2 tbsp hot butter
Instructions
1 - Salt codfish or cold boiled fish may be used.
2 - Shred the fish and mix it with an equal quantity of cold mashed potatoes.
3 - Season with pepper, and if necessary salt; then stir in 1 egg, well beaten.
4 - After shaping into small cakes, cook until brown in 2 tbsp hot butter in a frying pan.
