Carrots and Peas
Ingredients
2 cps carrots
1 cp cooked peas
salt
pepper
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 cps milk
Instructions
1 - Take 2 cps carrots cut in cubes and let them boil until tender; then add 1 cp cooked peas
(canned or fresh) and let them heat thoroughly.
2 - Either season with melted butter,salt and pepper or serve in a sauce made as follows:
Into 3 tbsp melted butter stir 3 tbsp flour, 1/2 tsp salt and a little pepper, then add 2 tsp sugar and 1 1/2 cps milk;
3 - Let come to the boiling point and put in the cooked carrots and peas to reheat
