Crabmeat Canoes
Ingredient Amounts
6 medium Maine potatoes
2 tbsp butter or margerine
4 tbsp milk
1 tbsp grated onion
few grains pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 cp crabmeat
1/2 cp grated American cheese
Instructions
1 - Bake potatoes, cut lengthwise and scoop out carefully.
2 - Mash potatoes, add butter or margerine, milk, onion, and seasonings.
3 - Beat until creamy.
4 - Add crabmeat to this mixture and refill shells, mounding slightly.
5 - Sprinkle with cheese.
6 - Bake in slow oven (325 degrees ) 20 minutes.
