Graham Bread
1/2 cp sugar
1 cp sour milk or buttermilk
3 cps graham flour
1 egg
1/2 cp molasses
1 tbsp melted shortening
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp boiling water
1 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
1 - Beat egg, then add sour milk or buttermilk, shortening and molasses.
2 - Dissolve baking soda in boiling water and add to the above.
3 - mix the graham flour sugar and salt together and add to the above.
4 - Beat only until the mixture is well blended.
5 - Pour into well greased loaf pan and bake in 375 degree preheated oven
for 50 minutes.
