Vegetable Chowder
1 cp corn(leftover or canned)
4 potaoes, cut in slices
1 onion, sliced
2 cps water
4 strips diced bacon
2 tbsp enriched all-purpose flour
3 cps scalded milk
salt and pepper
2 cps tomatoes
Instructions
1 - Fry bacon and onion until onion is transparent.
2 - Stir in the flour, add water and the potatoes.
3 - Cook until potatoes are soft.
4 - Add corn and milk and cook 5 minutes.
5 - Add tomatoes. Heat, season and serve at once.
Recipe amount - approximately 8 servings
