Cocoa Syrup with Corn Syrup
2 squares chocolate
1/2 cp water
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cps corn syrup
Instructions
1 - Use a small utensil so your mixture won't scorch.
2 - Place water and chocolate together and cook until thick stirring constantly.
3 - It is advisable to use medium heat on an electric range, and the flame turned down on a gas range.
4 - Remove from heat and add corn syrup, salt, and vanilla
5 - Serve hot or cold over ice cream, cottage pudding, or dry cake
