Baked Winter Squash
2-lb piece of squash
1 tbsp butter or fortified margerine
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp brown sugar
pepper
nutmeg
Instructions
1 - Remove seeds and pithy part of squash.
2 - Cut into serving pieces..
3 - Place in a greased utility dish with the rind side up.
4 - Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
5 - Remove from oven. Turn squash over and spreadm with butter
or fortified margerine
6 - Sprinkle with salt, pepper and a very little nutmeg and brown sugar.
7 - Return to oven and finish baking at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
